This practical session will be an introduction to Nextflow, a powerful computational pipeline constructor, via demonstrations and interactive exercises.

Nextflow in Action: Design and Implement Your Own Bioinformatics Workflow

Gain an understanding of workflow management concepts and learn how to use Nextflow to develop scalable, reproducible, and portable bioinformatics pipelines. We recommend some minimal prior exposure to Nextflow – such as the course listed above!

Live Workshop Series: Moving Confidently from GraphPad Prism to R

February 24: Basics of R for Non-Coders (Required if you aren’t already familiar with R)

March 24: Data Wrangling and Basic Statistical Tests (cleaning/filtering large datasets using tidyverse, t-tests, ANOVA, basic power analyses etc.)

April 21: Reproducibly Visualising Data in R (bar plots, time series, grouped plots, etc.)

May 19: From GraphPad Prism to R: Advanced Statistics (Linear and nonlinear regression models, Mixed-effects models, Logistic regression etc…)

June 16: Advanced Analyses (clustering, PCA, etc…)

June 30:  Bring Your Own Data

In person ​- Individual sessions are £50 (KCL)/£100 (external).
