In this data club session, we’ll explore the reasons why quantitative analysis of bioimages can enable further scientific discovery. We’ll kick off with a few slides and then we’ll open the floor for a discussion where everyone can share their experiences, concerns, and insights.
We’ll discuss bias when qualitatively assessing bioimages, and its effect on reproducibility. We’ll also cover available open-source tools and how to get help with image analysis tasks.
A reminder that the Data Club will be held in the HAB Training Room, located on Guy’s Campus, Hodgkin Building, Room G60. If you are not a King’s College London member and do not have an access card, please let security at the front of the Hodgkin Building know that you are attending the data club, and they should give you a visitor’s card and grant you entry.
You do not need to bring anything for this Data Club as it is mainly an open discussion.
