Internal Engagement

Driven by our mission to foster a collaborative and interdisciplinary research environment, we aim at bringing together staff and students from different departments to enable further scientific discoveries led by our support. We strive to promote active collaborations through research seminar series, data clubs and engagement activities.
Through hosting various events and providing support to the community, we hope to build a strong network, empower PhD students and staff, and spark new research collaborations amongst different teams, and ultimately, accelerate progress within our field.

Research Seminars

Research Seminars

The Research Seminars will be held in the new HAB facility fortnightly. During seminars, researcher will share knowledge on specific bioinformatics topics. Alongside world renowned experts in the field, PhD students and post-doc will also be invited to present their current research.

Data Clubs

Our Data Clubs are technical meetings, where participants will tackle computational challenges. These will be a chance for students and research staff to delve into methodology in a collaborative and active manner. Participants will be able to bring their own data and ask questions on specific software or analysis steps, as well as use this space to test novel analysis pipelines.
